Donations are always needed for our agency. We are
in need of cash,
office furniture, office chairs, copy paper, office supplies, folding chairs,
postage scale, kitchen supplies. We also appreciate donated hearing aids which
we assist the Sertoma organization with. Please advise us with the enclosed form

DHHSF Receives ALLTEL
Wireless Donation
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services of
Florida, Inc. is pleased to announce they have received a $2,500.00
donation from Alltel Wireless. Both companies provide services to
Pasco and Hernando Counties. Alltel Wireless has three locations in
Pasco and two in Hernando County. Deaf
and Hard of Hearing Services of Florida, Inc. (DHHSF), a 501(c) (3) non
profit agency, has its main office in Port Richey and satellite offices
in Spring Hill, Brooksville, Zephyrhills, and Dade City.
Improved communication is the goal for
both businesses. The Alltel donation will allow DHHSF the
opportunity to provide additional services to the deaf and hard of
hearing. One such program is
their “Signing for Everyday Living." This program will be offered free to participants. The program’s
focus is to help individuals better cope with their hearing loss and will
include instruction on basic sign language, assistive listening devices,
lip reading skills, telephone/cell phone skills and group setting
solutions.
