New Class - Signing for Everyday Living

This class targets adults 55 and older who are experiencing a late-in-life hearing loss and for their family, friends or caregivers.  There is a total of 5 classes that will cover such topics as food, community, medical, dental household and personal interests.  Classes will be small and allow individuals to practice their signing skills for everyday use without having to learn the entire language.  This is a great way to learn to communicate when faced with a hearing loss.  To learn more contact Jennifer Hess at (727) 853-1010.

Community Education and Services

We offer training to many local organizations to include non-profit agencies, law enforcement, EOC, and medical services to help them better serve the hearing impaired. We also will be holding monthly workshops and seminars for the hearing impaired to help them better understand our community and how to handle certain situations. Sign Language classes are on going depending on the need. Please check our calendar and events page for information.
Our client services provides individuals with a hearing loss the tools to be successful in a hearing world. We can assist children and families with amplified equipment, TTY's, resource material, computer access, support groups and social activities to help them better cope with the outside world. We have excellent referral sources if any of our clients need services that we are unable to provide.
